Its participants personify the future model of Russian jewelry market. There is a variety of good restaurants and clubs – Makaroni, Marios, Cru, Rioni, Correa’s, 16 Tons, Voodoo Lounge, Dirty Dancing, The Real McCoy, John Bull Pub and many others – within a very short walk. The apartment is also located close to the Moscow Zoological Park, and is well suited for either long-term or short-term rentals.

All rooms look out on what the locals call… “The Castle”, which is the largest Catholic Church in all of Russia. It is a beautiful old brick cathedral with a rich history, and it also serves as a concert hall featuring organ recitals, choirs and famous singers. Additionally, the noon-time chorus of bells adds a special touch of local color to your day.

In the summer, the apartment is shaded with trees just outside the window. In the winter, you are able to watch the snow fall on the cathedral and the bare trees.

The entryway provides storage for shoes and a coat rack. The hall closet offers convenient storage and a personal safe for your use. These amenities are especially nice if you plan to make this apartment your home for the longer term.

The Russian government are well aware of the shortage in mid-range hotels, in a market dominated by the luxury 4/5 star establishments. They propose to start building state-owned hotels in the city center, creating a network of 2/3 star hotels.

However, not everyone thinks the Moscow government will be able to come through on these plans. Aleksandr Makliarovsky, Director of KMP Group, one of the largest tourist agencies operating in Russia, doubts this idea cannot be put into action.

“I don’t believe these plans can be realized. We already have three-star hotels in central Moscow, but they can’t afford mid-range prices. They are offering prices you normally pay for four-plus hotels. Although these are commercial hotels, I think the Moscow government will face the same problems. It’s not just a technical problem. They can only be mid-range hotels far from the center.”

As you first exit the elevator, you will see the beautiful, tall, solid wood door magnificently facing the hallway. As you enter the doorway, you’re first struck with the intricate parquet floor throughout the apartment, along with the high ceilings and detailed wood trim, it all works together to present an image of “quality”. Turning left to enter the living room, you see that it is spacious and has two windows overlooking Tverskaya, which is the main street that runs from Red Square all the way to Sheremetyevo airport.

As you return to the main hall, you’ll see the huge kitchen which is huge and features all of the necessities that you will require in a kitchen during your Moscow visit. In fact, with the large dining table with places for six… your party will no doubt gravitate to the kitchen as you prepare your meals and/or snacks for your guests. The kitchen even has a balcony and a large window overlooking a magnificent old Russian building, which words cannot describe!

If all of this were not enough to convince you… the large, marble bathroom is complete with a huge bath tub and shower. I know it’s too tempting, but you absolutely must leave the apartment sometime!

So you must venture out into the city and the beauyt of the Flagship apartment would make no difference if it were not convenient to the center of Moscow… As you exit the apartment you will find yourself absolutely right in the heart of the city! Along with Tverskaya itself, only a few steps away you will find Kamergersky perulock, which is a pedestrian street featuring a theater, an Internet café, and about a dozen restaurants, including Café des Artistes, Academia, and Pinocchio’s. In fact, in every direction you walk, you will find superb restaurants featuring world-quality food!

If you’re not hungry, only one block further is Red Square, the Kremlin and the GUM shopping area or the Okhotny Ryad underground shopping plaza. In the other direction, is Pushkin Square with wonderful restaurants and clubs all over the area. If you desire to leave the area, there are six metro stations with five different lines ready to take you anyplace in Moscow in a matter of a few minutes… In other words, you are in the heart of the center!
